Notes, Reflections, and Discoveries

This section provides some thought seeds. Less structured, more open and inquiring.
There are many parallels between system thinking and eastern philosophy. So if this section seems a bit “out there”, it is because systems thinking is a completely different way of looking at things. It is not mystical, but it is metaphysical because of the way it challenges our world models.
Note that we do not think of abstract thinking as mystical, yet it deals with things that do not exist in reality. Then when we assign cause and effect relationships to those abstract “entities”, we still do not think of it as mystical in any way.
Since systems thinking deals with actual behavior in a integrated manner, you could say it is more objective than abstract thinking or what we usually think of as analysis.
Enjoy!
